A: No, it is possible to show symptoms in as little as a few weeks or as late as 10 or more years.
 
 
Q (T/F): More than 15,000 people are newly infected with HIV every day,
A: True, there are over 15,000 new cases of HIV every day.
 
 
Q (T/F):  As long as a person uses a condom during sex, it is not possible to catch HIV/AIDS.
A: False. The chances of contracting the disease are indeed GREATLY reduced, but NOT eliminated.
 
 
Q: Can a woman contract HIV if she is using a diaphragm during sex?
A: Yes, a diaphragm is not sufficient protection against the HIV virus.
